Photo Reel: Day-Tripping Washington D.C.

Kelley and I took a 48-hour sojourn to Washington D.C. Y’know, to see our nation’s capital before it becomes a post-apocalyptic wasteland next week.

We packed light for this trip, using only a carry-on bag each. This let us stay flexible and kept our plane tickets cheap. We managed to visit the monuments, the Museum of Natural History, the Air and Space Museum, the Botanical Gardens, the Portraits Gallery, Union Station, and countless city streets during our brief stay, so I would call it a very successful mini-vacation.

Enjoy the photos! I have lots of generic tourist shots of monuments and stuff, but opted to share only my favorite photos from the last two days in this gallery. It’s not cycling content, but hopefully it makes for happy scrolling.

Well said, FDR.

Keep traveling!

Max
